Since we're on the Andersen's Fairy Tales subject, I'd like to present another great illustrator of the Golden Age, William Heath Robinson and his Andersen's Fairy Tales, fist published by Constable in 1913. Many of you are already familiar with his whimsical and humorous illustrations, if you are not, it's time to get familiar, his "inventions" are truly remarkable.

It is a great pleasure for me to present the most popular "Teddy Bears" book of the early 19th century, The Roosevelt Bears aka the "Teddy Bears books" by Eaton Seymour. This book has certainly contribute to popularized the keyword "Teddy Bears" that we all came to know today.
More About Teddy B. And Teddy G. The Roosevelt Bears is the second book in the popular Roosevelt Bears series, first published in 1907 by Edward Stern & Co.

I'm very excited to announce that for the first time, some prints in my gallery are now available for purchase.
Why selling prints now ? Because many of you have been asking for prints over the past 3 years and the raising cost of maintaining and adding more contents to this site. My original goal was to create a non-commercial resource site for book collectors like me and it has evolved into something that I had not expected.

The High History of the Holy Graal is perhaps Jessie Marion King's most beautiful illustrated book among the dozen of books she has illustrated. She did many books, covers for books and magazine. Her best is no doubt the Seven Happy Days, a Christmas Special for the Studio Magazine in 1913. Here they are again, all new and better scans to replace the ones I did two years ago.
