Futuria Fantasia (2007) is a collector’s revival of Ray Bradbury’s self-published fanzine from 1939–1940, meticulously reproduced to celebrate the late author’s early, unpolished genius. This hardcover facsimile edition preserves all four original issues of the teenage Bradbury’s DIY science fiction magazine—typed on his sister’s borrowed typewriter and distributed for 15 cents per copy—featuring his first short stories, editorials, and correspondence with future legends like Henry Kuttner and Leigh Brackett.

The 2007 edition faithfully replicates the fanzine’s crude mimeograph aesthetic, down to the smudged ink and uneven margins, while adding a new introduction by Bradbury reflecting on how these amateur experiments birthed The Martian Chronicles.
