About Us

I’m an obsessive children’s book collector for over 25 years. I started reading at a very young age and books have been a good friend throughout my life. I started as a comic books collector and gradually moved to collecting children’s book and hence rare children’s book. Mainly because of those absolutely stunning illustrations from the Golden Age era of children’s book illustrations.

This site was created in 2001 to share a passion of mine. All the illustrations from our illustration galleries are scanned from my book collection, took took some years putting it together.

I hope it’ll bring some joy into your day, going through these wonderful illustrations of past masters of book illustration.
