The fifth and final installment in the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy series, Mostly Harmless takes a darker, more existential turn. Arthur Dent, now stranded in a remote universe after the Earth’s (repeated) destruction, finds himself entangled in a bizarre twist of fate involving his long-lost daughter, Random Dent, and the sinister corporate machinations of the Guide Mk. II. Meanwhile, Ford Prefect uncovers a conspiracy that threatens the multiverse itself.
