 The holiday season is coming and I've been woring extra hard on my project to re-scan the majority of the artwork in my gallery in addition to new books I've acquired over the past few months. This is my Christmas present to you, the most beautiful Art Nouveau illustrated book: Die Nilbelungen, illustrated by Carl Otto Czeschka, new prints in fresher colors.

Here are the new prints for the most famous children's book in the world by the most famous Golden Age illustrator Arthur Rackham, first edition, published in 1907 by Heineman. The colors are a bit brighter than my old scans and furthermore, it's a classic and worth a visit now and then. Enjoy.

 I have the pleasure to introduce a new book to our gallery: Japanese Fairy Tales illustrated by Warwick Goble, published in 1909. In my opinion, this book is his best work, he maintained an overall consistency and originality that lacks in his later works. One of the great Golden Age illustrator. Enjoy the prints.

 New scans from the First edition of Arabian Nights published by Hodder in 1906, illustrated by Edmund Dulac . Together with E.J. Detmold, two of the most beautiful Arabian book ever published. Kay Nielsen's illustrations for Arabian Nights is overall better, but unfortunately never been published in full book form. Enjoy !

 I'm reintroducting the works of my favorite illustrator Kay Nielsen in his book: Hans Andersen's Fairy Tales. The images are re-scanned from the Limited Edition book published by Hodder in 1924. The new scanner I just acquired produces better and more accurate colors also more details, the best yet.

My old faithful scanner, an Epson 3490 just died a few days back and I've bought a new Epson V350 for a few books I plan to scan. But before that, I put it to the test and see what is better from the old respecful one I had. All I can say is WHOOA, what a year in technical innovation can do.
