I stumbled upon this book while looking for some art books in a small used bookstore. From Mathilde Ritter, an unknown illustrator to me, In the Mouse's House published by Laidlaw Brothers, 1933. A translation from a German story book. Charming illustrations, great use of colors. Enjoy.

Here are the new prints for the most famous children's book in the world by the most famous Golden Age illustrator Arthur Rackham, first edition, published in 1907 by Heineman. The colors are a bit brighter than my old scans and furthermore, it's a classic and worth a visit now and then. Enjoy.
